Ewa Jasinska-Davidson is a Senior Lecturer in Interpreting and teaches consecutive and simultaneous interpreting – she is also a Polish tutor on the course. She is a qualified and experienced Conference and Business Interpreter and Certified Translator entered into the official list of sworn translators of the Polish Ministry of Justice. Ewa graduated with a Conference Interpreting degree from London Met and also received an MA with honours in Ethnolinguistics from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan as well as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Polish law).
Ewa has been providing interpreting and translation services for over 15 years and loves to solve communication headaches for multilingual businesses and organisations. Her language combination is Polish A, English B and Spanish C. She is very enthusiastic about entrepreneurship and has been supporting entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises that are interested in internationalisation. Ewa is a member of various professional associations including:
- The National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI)
- The Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI)
- The International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI)
- Polish Business Link (PBLINK)
Ewa is also the co-owner of Business Language Boutique which is a collection of language specialists with language and culture expertise including Polish, German, Spanish and English. They provide a range of language solutions to a wide range of organisations and industries.
Ewa teaches consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, and she is also a Polish tutor on the course. As a practising interpreter, she is able to share her experience and expertise with her students. Additionally, she organises various Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes and invites guest speakers from the industry which enhances students' employability. She feels very enthusiastic about helping students and recent graduates to bridge the gap between completing the course and starting to work as a Conference Interpreter.
