Anil actively encourages his students to join professional associations as early in their studies as possible, to go to summer schools and conferences, and to build a network. He has extensive experience supervising undergraduate, postgraduate and executive students and has supervised more than 95 research projects. The outcomes of these projects have been accepted or published in ABS, ABDC and Science Journal Impact Factor (SCI) indexed journals.

To be passionate about impactful research, Anil's research focuses on sustainability, sustainable supply chains, sustainable development, circular economy, industry 4.0 (the fourth industrial revolution) and human capital in supply chain and operations. He also contributes to the teaching and supervision of students in their various research projects and scholarly activities.
