Studying design at London Metropolitan University

Start your journey to becoming a professional designer and innovator who can serve the needs of the capital’s creative economy. Our design degree courses will provide you with the technical, creative and communication skills to enter the worlds of fashion, textiles, furniture, product design, graphics, online, multimedia or games design.

Our design graduates include renowned jewellery designers, award-winning furniture designers, heads of design for well-known lifestyle brands, animators for Iron Man, book cover designers and award-winning textile designers committed to sustainable craft.

Many of our design courses are taught in The Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design (The Cass), with access to inspiring studio spaces and specialist facilities including wood, metal, plastic and ceramics workshops, fashion and textile studios, and printmaking and letterpress facilities. Our games courses are taught in our School of Computing and Digital Media, where you’ll have access to cutting-edge software and fully equipped computing suites.

"Remember that success is getting to wherever you want to. It's not gauged by size or sales, but whether you're doing what you want to be doing."

Alex Monroe – London Met jewellery graduate and one of the UK's leading jewellery designers
