Cass Summer Show

Dates have been announced for this year's Cass Summer Show art exhibitions.

Dates have been announced for this year's Cass Summer Show, an annual event that sees the studios of The Cass at Central House transformed into a vast gallery to display work by hundreds of graduating students. There will be two exhibitions this year, each opening with a private view.

Part one

Students from our art, music, film and visual communications departments will exhibit their work from 10 to 18 June, with a private view on 9 June from 6.30pm. Courses represented will include Fashion, Fine Art, Furniture, Graphic Design and Illustration, Interior Design, Jewellery and Silversmithing, Music Technology, Musical Instrument Making, Photography and Textile Design.

Students from our Film and Animation courses will screen their work at an event called Final Cuts 2016, held at the British Film Institute (BFI) Southbank on 16 June from 2pm. The event is free but tickets are limited so booking is essential.

Part two

The architecture exhibition will run from 24 June to 2 July, with a private view on 23 June from 6.30pm. Courses represented will include the Architecture BA and MA, Spatial Planning and Urban Design MA and Professional Diploma in Architecture (now Architecture RIBA 2 MArch).

Additional shows

From 10 to 18 June, students from our short and professional development courses will exhibit their upholstery work at our Commercial Road building. From 10 June to 2 July, students from our foundation and extended degree courses will exhibit their work in the Bank Gallery.
