The SCDM Advisory Boards provide a forum for engagement between the school and industry professionals. The boards bring together industry leaders and senior academic staff to discuss developments across relevant sectors and their implications for teaching, research and professional practice.
Through these discussions, London Met gains insight into current industry trends, skills required and emerging areas of practice. This helps ensure that we remain informed by developments in the sectors our graduates enter.

Media Advisory Board (MAB)
The Media Advisory Board (MAB) brings together professionals from across the media and creative industries, including representatives from news organisations, film production, journalism, social media marketing, fashion and publishing. The board meets quarterly with academic leadership from the school to discuss developments across the media landscape and the implications for creative education and professional practice.
These discussions provide insight into changes across the media and creative industries, including evolving production practices, digital media trends and the skills required by employers. Board members share perspectives on industry expectations of graduates, emerging creative workflows and the professional competencies needed to work across contemporary media environments.
Through this engagement, the school is able to maintain an ongoing dialogue with industry practitioners and ensure that programmes remain informed by developments across the sectors our graduates enter.

Industry Advisory Board (IAB)
