More about accounting, economics and finance at London Met

Our accounting, economics and finance degrees are designed to give you a broad understanding of key financial markets, statistical concepts and what makes a business likely to succeed. You’ll also learn about working in both large and small organisations, and how you can tailor your approach to each.

We’re one of the few universities offering you access to Bloomberg data throughout your studies. Bloomberg is a financial service that allows you to look at financial data, which is used around the world in bank dealing rooms and investment houses. You’ll also have access to Bloomberg data, which stores real-time financial prices and valuations.

Learn from outstanding lecturers

The staff teaching on our accounting, economics and finance courses have experience in taxation, management accounting, public audit, financial reporting and information systems. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend presentations from guest speakers who visit the University to share insight into their industry.

Increase your employability

Employability is a key part of all our courses at London Met. Our work-related learning module, which is available to all our undergraduate degree students, can give you real-life experience of your chosen job sector, allowing you to put your skills into practice and providing a stronger start to your career.
