Gain all the skills you need to begin an exciting career in business and law with this Business Management with Law (including foundation year) degree course. This course is designed for students who want to study our Business Management and Law degree but lack traditional entry qualifications or cannot meet the entry requirements.
During your first year, you will gain essential study skills that will help you transition smoothly onto our three-year Business Management with Law course where you will join a fresh cohort of students, some of whom may not have studied on the foundation year. This foundation year course is the ideal pathway if you’re returning to study, need additional preparation for university, or want to explore your subject in a broader context before beginning your degree.

Topics covered after the foundation year include management, marketing, strategy, data analysis and consultancy, as well as company law, employment law, consumer rights, international trade law, competition law, and regulation

This four-year degree course includes an intensive foundation year (Year 0), which will provide you with the skills required for your subsequent three years of study
Course details
In addition to the University's standard entry requirements, the students should have:
- a minimum of grades CCC in three A levels in academic or business subjects (or a minimum of 96 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC National, OCR Diploma or Advanced Diploma)
Accreditation of Prior Learning

English language requirements
To study a degree at London Met, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. If you require a Student visa (previously Tier 4) you may need to provide the results of a Secure English Language Test (SELT) such as Academic IELTS. This course requires you to meet our standard requirements.
If you need (or wish) to improve your English before starting your degree, the University offers a Pre-sessional Academic English course to help you build your confidence and reach the level of English you require.
Both formative and summative assessment take a variety of formats including, coursework, portfolios, blogs, essays, exams, group presentations, business reports, statement of claim, problem-based activities, practice-based projects, group research projects, videos, computer-based tests, business simulations, pro-bono activity and a final dissertation. Feedback and feedforward are provided on both formative and summative in keeping with university guidelines.

When to apply
The University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) accepts applications for full-time courses starting in September from one year before the start of the course. Our UCAS institution code is L68.
