Communities and Healthcare

This interdisciplinary research area spans two research centres: the Centre for Health and Life Sciences Research and the Health and Behaviour Research Centre. Our work is focused on improving the health of communities, described as "a group of people who have common characteristics or interests, which can be defined by geographical location, shared experiences, age, ethnicity, health need, or other common bonds" (NICE, 2017).
