National Student Survey success for London Met courses

High scores for overall satisfaction and quality of teaching on a number of London Met courses.

A number of courses at London Met received overall satisfaction scores above 90% with Theatre and Performance BA achieving 100%, according to this year’s National Student Survey (NSS) results. 

London Met has courses from every School receiving an overall satisfaction score of at least 85% and a number had more than 90%. The top performers were Fine Art BA, International Business Management BSc and Translation BA with scores of more than 94% for overall student satisfaction.

Other courses with a student satisfaction rate of more than 90% were: Business Management and Marketing BA, Computer Networking BEng, Criminology BSc, Diplomacy and International Relations BA, Economics BSc, Fashion BA, Human Nutrition BSc, and Early Childhood Studies BA

Excellent teaching

Students on a number of courses at London Met also gave positive feedback for the quality of teaching on their course. The top-rated courses were Fashion BA, Fine Art BA, International Business Management BSc, Media and Communications BSc, Sports Therapy BSc, Translation BA, and Early Childhood Studies BA who all received scores of more than 90% satisfaction for the quality of teaching. 

The NSS is completed by final year students at universities across the country each year and is one of the best measures of student satisfaction with their university. Students at more than 419 institutions in the UK took part in 2019.

Last year, London Met received its highest ever graduate employment score with 96.7% of all 2017 graduates in work or further study six months after leaving the University
