Date: 1 March 2019
Dr Samuel Idowu has been announced as the Editor-In-Chief of the Encyclopaedia of Sustainable Management, a six-volume encyclopaedia that will address issues relating to Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethics, Governance and the Environment.
Corporate Social Responsibility addresses the responsibility modern organisations face concerning the environment and their social responsibility towards their stakeholders. The encyclopaedia comes at a crucial time when experts are arguing that our planet will not be able to survive if we do not take action towards a more sustainable future now.
Dr Idowu commented: “Sustainable development impacts every aspect of our existence either as a corporate or individual citizen of the global community, the planet needs us to be sustainable not just for this generation but most importantly for future generations of those that will live and function on this planet.
“Editing this encyclopaedia is a huge professional and personal achievement for me as it will showcase the best practice in order to address a huge issue which is affecting every citizen and business on this planet.”
The Encyclopaedia will feature 1,200 entries work of more than 250 contributors from around the world – three of which teach are at London Met:
- Dr Nirmala Lee, Associate Professor of Banking and Finance
