London Metropolitan University is embarking on a journey to appoint our next Vice-Chancellor. The recruitment activity will be concentrated around April, May, and June, with the selection panel making its recommendations to the Board in Summer 2024.
Your voice matters
The Board are keen to ensure that the views and voices of our students and staff are heard during this process, so we will be inviting you to:
- share your thoughts on the desired qualities of our next Vice-Chancellor through a brief online survey;
- engage in consultations with the Students’ Union and campus Trades Unions;
- participate in meetings with shortlisted candidates during the final stages of the recruitment.
Your Voice Matters
The Board have selected executive search firm Perrett Laver to help us find outstanding candidates. However, it's your perspectives that will define the criteria for our next leader. Let your voice be heard and help us outline the attributes essential for our Vice-Chancellor’s role.
Meet the recruitment panel
The Board of Governors has formed a Selection panel to manage the whole process, including long and shortlisting, and final interviews. The selection panel will be supported by Chief Operating Officer, Eugene McCrossan; Executive Director of People, Chloe Milano; and University Secretary, Nikki Le Faou.
