Cass Music at Greenwich University

Sound / Image Colloquium at Greenwich University.

The Sound / Image colloquium, taking place this weekend, is interested in exploring the relationships between sounds and images, and the images which sounds can construct by themselves. Through a series of complementary strands: talks, screenings, loudspeaker orchestra concerts, the event will bring together artists and academics to investigate sound and sound-image phenomena.

Apart from special guest Michel Chion also practitioners and affiliates of Cass Music will be appearing. London Metropolitan University's Alexander Wendt, Senior Lecturer at Cass Music will present two versions of his Lit - Sunshine Recorder work and also two Music Technology (Sound For Media) alumni will join the programme of presentations – Jung In Jung with an installation piece and Sandra Kazlauskaite (now Goldsmiths, University of London)- with a Keynote talk.

Sound / Image Colloquium
The event itself will take place on the weekend of 7 and 8 November 2015, at the Stockwell Street Building in Greenwich, beginning at 10am each morning.
