The crest

The University's achievement of arms (coat of arms), which is also referred to informally as 'the crest', is used only on official documentation such as degree certificates and some formal invitations.

The achievement of arms is comprised of several elements. Technically the crest is only the element on top of the helmet, though we use the whole graphic and incorporate the torch-bearing dragons on either side. An image of the dragon has previously been used separately as a badge.

Use of the crest on any document must be approved in advance by the marketing team and this device is not used by third parties. If you have any questions, please email the marketing team on marketing@londonmet.ac.uk.
