Celebrating student mums at London Met – An interview with Dania

In the run-up to Mother's Day 2019 we wanted to celebrate some of the student mums we have studying at London Met. In the fourth interview, we speak to mum-of-six, Dania Graneros.

We spoke to Translation studentDania Graneros, about what it's like being a mother and a student at the same time.

How do you juggle being both a mother and a student?

Children are not a problem or an obstable to being a student. They are my helper, they are my inspiration. They inspire me to continue studying.

What is your proudest moment at university so far?

Having passed my first year, that achievement pushed me into the second year.

What advice would you give to mothers who are about to start university?

Be positive! Be positive always. Think positive, "I can do it, I will do it, I can get it." Be positive and motivate yourself!

Can you sum up your university experience in one word?

Amazing! For me, amazing.
