Collaborate in our Roding building

Explore innovative smart technology that's designed to help you get the best results.

No more huddling around a tiny screen – in the Uni’s Roding building in special collaboration rooms, you can connect your own device or PC to display on much bigger screens in our group work areas.

If these screens still aren’t big enough for you, then you’ll also find a 20-metre-long projection screen (one of the largest in the UK) in Roding’s Ideation room – the Nureva Wallspan. If one of your professors wants colleagues in Canada and India to contribute to a lecture in real time, then they can input live to the screen. Using the latest cloud-hosted technology, users from anywhere in the world can collaborate on the giant digital canvas. The canvas can also be saved and updated.

As well as IT suites equipped with large-screen monitors designed to run the latest CAD and multimedia software, there are also a variety of seminar rooms and breakout spaces for relaxing.

The spaces in Roding which are at London Met's Holloway Road campus are popular with students, staff and have also been hired out for external events such as training days and business pitches.
