Abeba Mersha

How does it feel to graduate today?

It's amazing, it's the most beautiful day, I feel excitement, I'm really happy with the way it happened.

What are you doing now you’ve graduated?

Since I graduated a lot of things have been happening. I already worked in community development in a housing association. I did four projects for them and I'm really happy about that. Now I'm working for ISG, a construction company, and I’m doing a little research for them. So it's going well and it's been good.

How did you lecturers help you during your studies?

Azar, Patrik, Onya, Shamsul, they all worked really hard for us and with us, they did very well, they supported us and they still are supporting us while we find jobs, so I really appreciate all of them and I love them to bits.

What advice would you give to a student considering studying a degree?

I just say go for it, you never know until you start and you never know what doors will be opened.
