Date: 1 June 2015
On 3 June 2015 London Met’s Careers and Employability team present Way to Win 2015, a day-long careers conference, designed to help current students and 2015 graduates find and win their perfect job.
Way to Win 2015 presents a day of seminars, workshops and presentations delivered by employers, external organisations and experienced career professionals.
The seminars and workshops will cover such topics as social media, providing advice on how to use social media platforms to network and to job hunt. CV and cover letter master classes lead into talks on how to succeed in interviews and assessments.
Professionals from Milkround, the NHS, the East London Business Alliance, CIMA and the FDM group will discuss graduate schemes, team work, social networking and interview techniques.
The day will also include sessions on how to build a business and being a successful public speaker offering attendees expert knowledge and advice on how they can become the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Celebrating our alumni success, London Met graduate Sanjay Lathar will deliver the keynote speech talking about his career trajectory, moving from teaching, into property development CPD training, to become a company director.
The day will be split into four sessions with attendees being given the opportunity to select from one workshop per session.
Lunch will be provided giving students the opportunity to network with the employers and professionals visiting the university.
