Date: 10 February 2022
A London Met project team has successfully completed the first phase of the Urban Data Space Project.
Led by Professor Vassil Vassilev, Head of the Cyber Security Research Centre (CSRC), the project explores the integration, analysis and visualisation of the real-time data about the air quality in the city of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Alongside the CSRC, the project was run jointly with London Met’s Telecommunications Research Centre and the academic partner from Sofia University, the GATE Institute of Big Data.
The team is currently working on the second phase of the project which will establish a similar service for London with additional analysis of the indoor air quality.
