Dr. Jane Turner - a member of the Theatre Practice team at London Met - has had a new performance work "Quantum²" selected to be presented as part of the Sensation Festival in Chelmsford on 28th September. The project will move on to the Ruskin Gallery in Cambridge on October 27th as part of Cambridge University's Festival of Ideas.
Supported by funding from Arts Council England, Quantum² continues Jane's pioneering investigations into the interrelationship between science, art and new technologies.
Dance, music and film interact using Microsoft’s latest kinnect technologies to expand our understandings of the interrelationship between the body and its environment, between science and art, culture and nature. A short film that is part of the work can be seen below.
