An evening of lectures dedicated to contemporary Polish jewellery.

Speakers:

Prof. Sławomir Fijałkowski - dean of the Architecture and Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, currently he leads the Experimental Design Studio at the School of Architecture and Design. He deals with product and jewellery design in collaboration with reputable manufacturers and author's design, organizer of many exhibitions, author of texts, analysis, theoretical and scientific descriptions, educational programs in the field of contemporary design.

PhD. Marta Hryc – lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, since 2011 she has been cooperating with Experimental Design Atelier (infraviolet.pl), scholarship holder of Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores in Mexico and the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Giedymin Jabłoński – jewellery artists, lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Poland and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilniu (Lithuania), initiator and member of the Polish Goldsmithing Artists` Association, author of publications in magazines and catalogs, jury member and curator of exhibitions.

The lectures accompany the exhibition of over 30 top Polish artists presented at Magan Gallery, 16 Trinity Road, SW17 7RE London.
