Development events for staff and students

Guildhall Business and Law were very pleased to welcome to the Faculty colleagues from Clydesdale Bank for the latest of a series of development events for students and staff. Mike Baker, Treasury Manager for the bank's clients in London and the South East provided an economic briefing, particularly focusing on how current geopolitical events are affecting economic prosperity. The event was attended by students from the MBA and the MSc Business Innovation and Creative Entrepreneurship and a number of staff.
These events are coordinated by Dr Hazel Messenger, course leader of the MBA and Maria Alavi, Head of Commercial and Small Business Relationship Management at the bank's West End branch in London. Maria is an alumnus of the university's MBA programme and is delighted to be involved in providing a range of development opportunities for students both within the university and at the bank's premises in Piccadilly Circus.
