How to develop a law specialism

As your legal career progresses, you might want to specialise in a particular area of law such as human rights, maritime law, or media law.

We offer a number of specialist law courses at postgraduate level but in a range of different qualifications. We offer a range of LLMs, which are Master of Laws degrees, postgraduate diplomas (PG Dips) and postgraduate certificates (PG Certs). PG Dips and PG Certs do not hold the same academic weighting as a full LLM degree, but are an easier and cheaper way to specialise in a particular area of law.

The below courses are suitable if you have either a legal background, or if you have a profession within the particular industry and are wanting to learn more about the legal issues affecting the industry.
