If you are starting an undergraduate degree in September 2014 or January 2015, you may be entitled to £1,000 cash in your first year and a fee waiver worth £1,000, followed by a further £1,000 cash in your second year.

As part of the National Scholarship Programme, London Met is offering 898 NSP scholarships to help relieve the pressure of financing your degree.

The £2,000 cash award, provided to aid your studies, can be used for essentials such as books, travel, childcare and technology, while the fee waiver will reduce your tuition fees by £1,000.

Jointly funded by the government and the University, the scholarships are available to students from low-income backgrounds.

How will the scholarships be awarded?

Allocation of the scholarships is not automatic but will be subject to means testing, a short application statement and other criteria found below. The scholarships will be awarded across all faculties.

If successful, when will I receive the scholarship?
