Safety and fire safety
The Vice-Chancellor (VC) states his personal commitment to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all staff and students through his Health, Safety and Fire Safety Policy Statement.
To enable it to enact the VC's policy statement, the University has adopted a Health, Safety and Fire Management System (SMS). This SMS provides an overview of how the University manages safety and the actions required to ensure that risks are identified and adequately handled.
