School of Human Sciences

The School of Human Sciences offers a wide range of courses in subjects including applied biology, biomedical sciences, chemical and pharmaceutical Sciences, nutrition and dietetics, and sports science and therapy. Students have access to an impressive range of specialist facilities as well as support from experienced, highly qualified and enthusiastic academics.

Biosciences – Biology Quiz It's time to test your Biology knowledge in our fun and interactive quiz! William Armour, senior lecturer in Biosciences, will take you through a wide range of topics, including some big biology news stories.  Join the Biosciences session here
Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences – The isolation and characterisation of the natural product limonene Get ready to take a deep dive into the world of natural products with this taster lecture from Dr Don Green, head of chemical and pharmaceutical Sciences. Dietetics and Human Nutrition – Taster session What influences what you eat? How have food and health changed over the last 50 years? Preetpal Kainth, course leader for dietetics and nutrition, will cover these big questions and more in this taster session. Join the Dietetics and Human Nutrition session here
Sports Science and Therapy – How to have a successful career in sport What do you need to have a successful career in sport? Course leader Paul Starrs will talk you through the opportunities that London Met can provide you with, and the knowledge that you need to secure a place in the profession.  Join the Sports Science and Therapy session here
