Managing Partner at Coniston Peak
“We were incredibly lucky to make use of London Met’s placement scheme. Mia – who interned with us in her final term of university – was a real asset to the firm. She got up to speed quickly and was a key member of the Coniston Peak team. We were sad to see her leave. As a small business, this scheme was exceptionally helpful for us, allowing us the chance to carry out our work and give Mia (we hope) a great experience at the same time. We are looking forward to working with London Met again.”
Director at Cybercare
"Cybercare has successfully trained and delivered work placements to approximately 25 London Met students per year for five years from different computing areas and criminology. These trainees have worked with our clinic staff and online platforms to deliver specialist IT support and outreach workshops. Some trainees have worked with Cybercare Core Staff to develop the Cybercare infrastructure, industry partners, media outreach, Sales Teams and pitch deck. We wish to continue this business support partnership with London Met University."
Co-founder of Arctic Power Berries
"We were impressed by the quality of some of the presentations and the effort the students had put in to brainstorm PR ideas for our company. It is always good to hear fresh ideas and new approaches to things that you have been doing the same way for years.
It was also nice to see how the students see your brand and company from their point of view. It was a good experience overall, and those presentations did inspire us to work on some new campaigns that we went ahead with. We would happily take part in this again."
Founder of Twisted Kombucha
"The experience of working with the students from start to finish was positive. I was able to get an insight into what a PR strategy looked like and was provided with lots of helpful tips and tricks to follow up on. I was also able to gain insight into the processes used and the most effective way to communicate to my target audience. Overall, I'm really happy I took part in this project."
