London Met Academics present awards at the SEA Gala night in Vienna

The SEA Gala Night for 2015 was last held week in Vienna, Austria.Over 600 entries from 100 countries were received in 2015. London Met academics attended and presented the awards.

The Annual Sustainability Entrepreneurship Awards (SEA) Gala Night for 2015 was last held week in Vienna, Austria. Sam Idowu who is an academic at the faculty has been a member of the Jury since 2013 was at the event.  
 
Over 600 entries from 100 countries were received in 2015 out of which nine awards were given to companies in eight categories. Sam presented the Award to the winner in the Urban and Regional Development category – an Italian SME which went on to win the overall prize of 10,000 euro. Sam said “It was a fantastic evening at the SEA Gala Night, where it was demonstrated to the world that operating sustainably in the 21st century has enormous rewards, London Met played some vital role at the event." Ron Cambridge a senior lecturer was also at the event. Ron was responsible for presenting the 25 finalist submissions to the jury in September 2015.
