At London Metropolitan University, we’re proud to support outstanding students from South Asia through our South Asia Scholarships – part of our International Scholarships package for the 2026/27 academic year. This award recognises applicants who demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies and to joining our diverse, vibrant community in London.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the South Asia Scholarship, you must:
- Be a new international fee-paying student starting an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at London Met in the 2026/27 academic year (September 2026, January 2027 and May 2027 entry).
- Hold citizenship from either Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka.
- Hold an offer for a full-time, full-degree programme delivered at one of our London campuses.
- Pay a deposit of £4,000 or more by the deadlines listed below (£8,000 for students from Pakistan)
Scholarship Value
You will receive £5,000 tuition fee reduction, which can be combined with the Early Payment Discount.
This award is applied for the first year of study and is automatically renewable each academic year for undergraduate students, subject to continued enrolment and international fee status.
Application Process
No separate application is required. If you meet the eligibility criteria, your total tuition fee reduction will be automatically applied to your unconditional offer and CAS.
Selection Criteria
This scholarship is available to all eligible applicants and is awarded based on:
- Academic excellence
- Commitment to early payment of your tuition fee deposit
Special Conditions
- This scholarship cannot be combined with other awards, except the International Bright Futures Scholarship which forms part of this package.
Restrictions and Exemptions
- Only available to new, full-time, international fee-paying students with citizenship from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka
- Not available for distance learning or partner-delivered courses.
- Cannot be deferred – students who defer their offer may lose eligibility.
- Cannot be combined with any other London Met scholarship besides the Bright Futures element included here.
- Can only be applied to full undergraduate and master's programmes. This excludes International Foundation Programme (IFP), GDL, PG Dip, PG Cert, and LLM courses.
