Have an idea that could make London Met or our wider community more inclusive?

Student Changemakers gives you the opportunity to turn your idea into action. This new programme gives London Met students the chance to identify an issue that matters to them, develop an idea and lead a project that creates positive change.

You’ll receive support, guidance and a paid opportunity to develop your project, build your skills and work with other students and University partners.

Whether you have a big idea or have noticed something that could be improved, Student Changemakers is your opportunity to make a difference.

What could you work on?
Your project could focus on an issue that affects students, your university experience or the wider community.

You don't need to already have a solution. We want you to identify something that matters to you, explore it and work with others to develop an idea for positive change.

Your project must align with one or more of the chosen themes for the academic year 2026/27:

  • Belonging and inclusion
  • Student success
  • Student voice and influence
  • Community and connection
  • Access and opportunity

You don't need to know exactly what your project will look like yet. What matters is that you have an issue, question or idea that you want to explore.
