Student Changemakers gives students the opportunity to identify an issue they care about, develop their own project idea and lead its development and delivery.
Staff can play an important role in helping students discover the programme, develop their ideas and connect with relevant people or opportunities across the University.
Staff can support the programme by:
- Sharing the programme with students who may have relevant ideas
- Encouraging students to think about issues they would like to change
- Signposting students to the Changemakers webpage
- Supporting students who are developing ideas
- Connecting students with relevant University teams, initiatives or expertise where appropriate
What is the role of staff?
Student Changemakers are responsible for developing and leading their own projects. Staff can help students navigate the University, identify useful contacts and understand what opportunities or support may be available.
