The UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme is designed to encourage employers to recruit, retain, and develop disabled people and those with long-term health conditions. The scheme recognises employers who demonstrate a strong and proactive commitment to inclusion for people with disabilities. There are three tiers to the Disability Confident scheme, disability confident committed, disability confident employer and the highest level disability confident leader.
