Academic Quality and Development works with the University's students and Students Union in a number of ways, directly linked to our quality processes and quality enhancement ethos.
AQD owns the University's Student Partnership Agreement, our version of a Student Charter. The current Agreement can be found here with AQD driving forward a number of linked projects to update and expand on the SPA in the year ahead.
Students are employed by AQD to act as panel members on our course validation and periodic review events, as well as for School-wide curriculum reviews. This applies for both in-house courses and those in collaborative partnerships. The student view is integral to driving forward changes and improvements to all our courses.
AQD also works with the University's Student Curriculum Partners to ensure our documentation, such as Student Handbooks, are written in student-friendly, inclusive language.
