3 Axis router

The Centre’s 3 Axis machine is capable of cutting parts from sheet material as well as machining simple stepped surfaces. 3 Axis enables the cutter to move in the x, y and z-axis simultaneously, while remaining perpendicular to the bed of the machine. The machining leaves a cusp on more complex surfaces, which must be sanded afterwards.

The SCM Pratix 3 axis machine has a cutting area of 1300 mm x 2500 mm and a height of 300mm.
