The Centre organises a number of events focused primarily on exploring the ways in which people are telling their life stories. Whether it is celebrating Black British culture and highlighting Black British voices, discussing the lived experience of memory and trauma, or looking at the climate crisis through the eyes of women in the Global South, the Centre brings to the fore the lived experiences of those who are often marginalised in the society, giving them back the voice and empowering them.
