Takero Shimazaki is a lecturer in Architecture at the School of Art, Architecture and Design.

Takero Shimazaki

Takero is an architect and a director of Takero Shimazaki Architects, t-sa. He studied at University of Wales, Cardiff and The Bartlett, UCL. He has worked for Richard Rogers Partnership, Itsuko Hasegawa and Alison and Peter Smithson.

Takero has taught at Oxford Brookes University, The Architectural Association and has been an external examiner in Cardiff, Cambridge and now at Kingston University. He has also led t-sa forum workshops, an independent international architectural workshop organised by t-sa.

t-sa's work has been published in a number of internationally, including in Casabella, Domus, Architectural Review as well as in various books, most recently in STOA, Italy.
