London Met's affiliate School The CESINE University Center recently celebrated their graduation ceremony at the Palacio de Festivales in Santander, Spain.

CESINE's Director, Yves Marmiesse, emphasised the importance of this event. 'because it means having overcome together what suddenly fell on us in March 2020... On a more personal note, it is my first presentation of diplomas as Director of CESINE". He highlighted the maturity and tenacity of the students who overnight had to adapt to a new situation that was very difficult for them.

Mayor of Santander Gema Igual congratulated the students on the graduation, commenting '[the ceremony] represents the culmination of their academic effort, which combines the reward for the work done and the illusion for the future that opens in their lives. The City Council wants Santander to be a benchmark in the educational and university field, and we value and appreciate projects as qualified as the one represented by CESINE, as it represents a fundamental pillar of the city model to which we aspire and for which we work.'
