Translation MA receives prestigious European accreditation

European Master’s in Translation membership will provide more training opportunities for students in the European Commission Directorate.

Date: 05 June 2019

London Met’s Translation MA has been selected for membership of the European Commission Directorate’s (ECD) prestigious European Master's in Translation (EMT) network.

Membership of the EMT is a quality label for university MA programmes in translation and is awarded to higher education programmes that meet the ECD’s rigorous professional standards.

Dr Nadia Rahab, MA Translation Course Leader, said: “Our European Masters of Translation membership not only recognises the quality of our courses, but it also gives our students more opportunities such as priority access to traineeships at the EU Directorate-General for Translation.

It’s a clear indicator of the high quality of our programme and a credit to the whole translation team at London Met.”
