Film and Broadcast Production student Daniel Glenn Barbour shortlisted in film competition.
A film by Daniel Glenn Barbour, who is currently studying BA Film and Broadcast Production, has been shortlisted in the Thumb-Stopping Moments Short Film Competition.
Entrants of the competition, which is sponsored by insurance company Totally Money, were asked to submit 60-second films that follow the theme of ‘avoiding the unexpected’ and immediately grab the attention of the viewer. Out of hundreds of entries, Daniel’s film was selected by a panel of judges as one of the top 15.
Daniel’s film focuses on two characters, a boxer and a student, in uneasy predicaments. Fitting with the theme of the competition, the boxer avoids the unexpected punches from his opponent and wins the bout whilst the student confidently tackles the unexpected questions on her exam and graduates.
Daniel is also the founder of 4Deuce Films and is a director, cinematographer, sound technician and editor.
