On Thursday 24th of January, psychoanalyst Susie Godsil will be in discussion with photographer Martin Parr in the Graduate Centre at London Metropolitan University. Topics of discussion will include Martin’s work over the last forty years and his observations of people in their various habitats at work or at play, at home or abroad, at Harrow School or at the British seaside.
Martin Parr is a British Documentary photographer. His work has appeared and been acclaimed in international and high-profile photographic supplements, journals and exhibitions. He has been Professor of Photography at the University of Wales and has curated at the New York Photo Festival Typologies Exhibition.
Susie Godsil is a psychoanalyst living and working in Leeds. She has taught and treated adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties and has a special interest in links between psychoanalysis and the creative arts.
This event is part of the Connecting Conversations series, organised by Rowan Arts and The School of Media, Culture and Communication at London Metropolitan University.
