Date: 25 October 2021

On 16 and 17 December, London Met will be hosting the 12th International Conference on Governance Fraud Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (IConGFESR), and the 12th Women and Business Conference (IWBC).

For both conferences, attendees will be able to engage in workshops, symposia, poster sessions and theme tracks. The International Group on Governance Fraud Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility was founded by Prof Kıymet Tunca Çalıyurt and is the Conference Series President.

Dr Abu Naser, the Conference President & Organiser and Course Leader for Accounting and Finance said: "We will publish good papers but encourage all delegates to further seek to get their paper published in an appropriate outlet. We also expect to follow our normal practice and a book of selected papers will be published. Full details concerning other publishing opportunities for the papers presented at the conference will be provided during the conference.

Although preference will be given to full papers, abstracts of 200-500 words will also be considered. Send papers and abstracts for both conferences before November 30 2021.

The theme for this year’s IConGFESR is the Roles of Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Internal Control in Fraud Prevention. However, the conference is intended to be interdisciplinary and welcomes contributions from anyone who has a perspective on sustainability, corporate governance, business ethics, environmental accountability, transparency, corporate reporting, and climate change risk for businesses.

  • Prof Miklos Vasarhelyi, Rutgers University
  • Dr Graham Gal, University of Massachusetts Amherst
  • Yves Genest, Vice President, Strategic Intiatives at the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation
  • Chris DePow, Senior Advisor at Elliptic
