Date: 10 February 2022

London Met’s Professor Vassil Vassilev recently delivered a talk at the International Conference on Cloud Computing, Data Science, and Engineering in Noida, India, having been invited to contribute to the conference for the third consecutive year.

In his talk, Professor Vassilev discussed the importance of the recent technological advances in Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and how this is linked to the successful completion of the Transformation Project of the Cyber Security Research Centre, which took place last year.

This project was dedicated to real-time security analytics for detecting unauthorised intrusions by applying Machine Learning algorithms.

This multi-year project was initiated in partnership with Lloyds and received additional support from Innovate UK under Cyber ASAP programme. It was completed during the lockdown completely remotely.

Professor Vassilev’s presentation is available to view through London Met’s repository (log in required).
