London Metropolitan University has been named among the Top 10 Universities for teaching hours by The Telegraph newspaper, highlighting the University’s commitment to providing affordable quality education.
London Met recently increased its teaching hours from 288 to 360 hours of contact time to ensure students get more value from their educational investment.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Peter McCaffery commented: "I’m delighted we are in the top 10 universities for teaching hours – our students enjoy great interaction with their academic staff.
"There is a direct relationship between attendance in class and academic performance, so we do all we can to ensure class contact time is high at London Met."
The Telegraph ranking follows previous good news about the University’s drive to enhance the student experience. Last year, London Met received its highest ever student satisfaction score in the National Student Survey, marking an increase of 10% in just two years.
