London Met alum takes lead in Netflix's 'Dead Places'

Performing Arts BA graduate Anthony Oseyemi plays the starring role of Will Stone in the supernatural Netflix series.

London Met alumnus Anthony Oseyemi takes the leading role in new Netflix show, Dead Places. Set in South Africa, Dead Places is described as a “ghostly action-packed paranormal series”

Anthony, who gained a Performing Arts BA at the University, plays paranormal detective and author Will Stone as he returns home for a few weeks to investigate a series of supernatural occurrences for his new book. Will secretly begins his own investigation into the death of his sister which happened 20 years ago.

With every episode leading him closer to the truth of what happened all those years ago, Will won’t stop until this mystery is solved.

Anthony’s previous credits include films The Salvation, alongside Mads Mikkelsen, Eva Green and Eric Cantona; Hector and the Search for Happiness, alongside Rosamund Pike and Simon Pegg; and parts in multiple TV series including Our Girl, Troy: Fall of a City, Agent, and Dominion. 

Dead Places is streaming on Netflix in South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Israel, Mexico and Turkey.
