Thursday 15th November saw the launch of Just Met 2012; London Metropolitan University’s annual anthology of creative writing, which features shortlisted entries from our yearly creative writing competition. The anthology showcases new poetry, memoir and short stories, and the evening provided our student writers with the opportunity to read from their work to an appreciative audience of students, staff, relatives, friends and other guests. Special congratulations go to Sandra Ashman prize winners Ann Marie Donohoe, Paris Morel, Aimee Salmon, Jenny Strawson, and Dafydd Lloyd. Poet Dafydd also received the Vice Chancellor’s Prize, and was selected as overall winner by this year’s external judge, novelist James Miller.
