Kieran Coleman, Deloitte reveals the realities of a career in accounting and finance.

Kieran Coleman visited London Guildhall Faculty of Business & Law to speak with final year BA Accounting & Finance and final year BSc Banking & Finance students about his career and answered many questions about working in accounting and banking.
He gave informative views on the realities of life, including being an accounting trainee with Arthur Andersen, then after qualifying working for Prudential Assurance, Egg Banking, Bank of Ireland, and Lloyds Bank to name but a few. He included excellent insights on life in the banking industry during the 2008 recession.
He is now a partner with Deloitte having three main responsibilities, namely Chief Operations Officer for Audit, leading change management at Deloitte and advising their clients on Corporate Finance. His open and frank talking was very much appreciated by all present and we were very grateful that he took the time to come and speak to us.
