Staff from the London Guildhall Faculty of Business & Law were delighted to deliver a human resource management (HRM) short course to representatives of the Phoenix Publishing Media Group (PPMG) on behalf of the London College of Communication.
Given their expertise in a range of international issues, the HRM staff were asked to train a team of 16 visiting Chinese delegates from PPMG on a variety of subjects, including the impact of culture on strategic international HRM, the development of a strategic approach to employee engagement, issues and implications in strategic HRM, management development and developing talent for the future knowledge economy, equal opportunities and diversity management in UK and global contexts, and the role of company directors and employment law.
The HRM team’s subject experts bring a mix of theory and practice to their delivery in the classroom on our BA HRM, MA HRM and PG DIP HRM courses.
