The London Guildhall Faculty of Business & Law welcomes back alumni

The London Guildhall Faculty of Business & Law were delighted to welcome back its alumni for a special ‘Guildhall Reconnect’ reception. This event gave an opportunity for past students to meet with their lecturers and classmates in the first reception of this kind held at Electra House, Moorgate.
Alumni were also treated to a wonderful exhibition curated by the University’s archivists, Peter Fisher and Louise Slater. A wide range of artefacts were on show which had been collected from all areas of the University and created a wonderful timeline and a glimpse of London Metropolitan University’s rich history.
Moreover, presentations were given highlighting the achievements of our alumni, current students and Guildhall as a whole by Professor Stephen Perkins, Dean of the Faculty. Professor Perkins also revealed the plans in place to renovate the foyer of Electra House and history within the building. Richard Molyneux, architects from Molyneux Kerr, was on hand to delve deeper into the proposed building works and how the changes will create a space for students, staff, alumni and friends of Guildhall.
