Alumni and Assistant Director at Deloitte speaks to current students

BSc Banking and Finance staff and students were proud to host Mr Rawad Halawi (ACMA, CGMA) assistant director at Deloitte LLP. Mr Halawi, who is also a Banking and Finance graduate, gave an impressive presentation, which took place on Friday 21st November 2014.
This was a fantastic and unique opportunity to meet and learn from the experience of a London Met alumnus who is now at a senior role within the industry, and who studied the same Banking and Finance degree that students are currently studying. Rawad gave a wonderful interactive presentation about career prospects within the banking and the financial services industries. He also advised students on how to tackle the complicated process of seeking employment, job applications, and career progression. It demonstrated that our Banking and Finance graduates succeed within the industry.
Following the presentations there was great positive feedback, with one student branding this presentation as: "a great source of motivation within the University".
