London Metropolitan University has been shortlisted for two Energy Managers Association (EMA) Energy Management 2017 Awards.

London Metropolitan University has been shortlisted for two awards in the EMA Energy Management 2017 Awards.
The University has been shortlisted for best Energy Management Team of the Year and The Most Inspiring Energy Reduction Project of the Year.
Rachel Ward, London Met’s Sustainability Manager said: “We are really proud of what we've achieved at London Met and that so many of our students and staff have contributed to our success.
“We are excited about the future with our One Campus, One Community project giving us the opportunity to further improve our sustainability.”
London Met has, once again, been announced as number one for carbon reduction, reducing its carbon footprint by over 65% since 2009 saving 848 tonnes of carbon.
The University has also been shortlisted for six other sustainability awards by a variety of organisations including Edie and Green Gowns.
The winners and highly commended in each category will be announced at the awards ceremony on 22 November at EMEX in London.
