Mice Work!

Cass Textile Design students work with top designer Edward Crutchley on Brown's window display for London Fashion Week.

A team of Textile Design students at The Cass recently worked with leading menswear designer Edward Crutchley to design his first window display for prestigious retailer Brown's.

The students, who are part of Studio Sui Generis, were introduced to a live project by tutor Karen Coughlan to design props and backdrops with a textile focus inspired by Crutchley's SS17 Collection suitable for display during London Fashion Week Mens AW17.

Five of the particpating students were then selected to help to design and art direct the whole look with designer and the visual merchandise team at Browns.  The final window display featuring two distinctive and well dressed mice turned heads in Mayfair and earned the project a mention in an article in leading trade publication WWD.

The participating students were Kang Chen, Georgia Lia, Chloe Francis Rowe, Emma Bueno de Mesquita and Ellie Williams.
